Doug has been doing hair since 1993. As a teenager, he constantly got in trouble for cutting and coloring his friends’ hair (and his own). To Doug, doing hair just made sense, and it still does. He values ethical and transparent hair practices and wants everyone to enjoy both the expertise and experience at Method Hair. 

Armed with over 28 years of industry experience, Doug collaborates with his clients to steer them in the right direction and help them find the best style that works for them. He is highly skilled in all styles, from long flowing layers to short and textured. He specializes in performing organic cuts using shapes that grow out beautifully and require little maintenance. While he loves doing bright, vivid colors, he also loves blended natural tones. Doug loves to take on a challenge: big transformations, vibrant colors, corrective color, you name it! He can do it all. 

Doug is always eager to learn about ideas and techniques and as much as he is to teach others. He also believes in self-care because, as he puts it, “giving clients our undivided attention requires us to be the best version of ourselves.” 

Some of Doug’s pastimes include seeing live music, collecting records, movies, video games, cooking, and modifying/building electronics. He aspires to own a pack of chihuahuas one day!
